Research Interests

My research interests focus on the statistical side. The basis in more inference focused Econometrics has led me to study Extreme Value Theory, and associated components. In particular, I am interested in the extending the Extremes literature, with a particular focus on:

• Scale regression in the POT and BM frameworks.
• Causality from the Rubin Causal Model point of view.
• Extending the Hyperplane Characterization.
• Hypersphere statistics for Extremes.

In addition, I am interested in applying extreme value theory to problems outside the field. This includes, but is not limited to:

• High-Dimensional Statistics.
• Error Propagation in Optimization.
• Extreme Meteorological rainfall patterns.
• Financial tail events.
